UBC BizTech is the largest technology club at the University of British Columbia, dedicated to bridging the gap between business, technology, and students from all backgrounds. Through a wide range of events—from conferences and case competitions to tech panels and hackathons, BizTech's events provide valuable opportunities for students to engage, connect, and network with industry professionals.
As a Developer, I support the club’s mission by contributing to the development of internal tools and public-facing platforms (specifically event companions) that streamline operations and enhance event experiences for our 1,500+ members.
Build highly reliable platforms (auth, data models, deployment) to spring off of, then make the “last mile” delightful for execs and attendees: fast flows, beautiful intuitive UI/UX, and tooling that amplifies the vision of event directors.
- Implemented main dashboards for KickFund, a mock funding platform for early-stage startups
- Refactored login and auth flow for the Companion App with Cognito integration
